  1. AI leader. Google will win the AI war. They are the only ones with right brain power, right infrastructure and Google already has all of our information.
  2. Running LLM locally is still not there yet, so if you want to use the best AI (which will be Google's) at the enterpise level. You will have to use Google Cloud offerings such as Vertex AI.

I've been thinking a lot lately. More than ever. A lot of things have happened last few months professionally and personally and my life definately needs some reset.

We are currently facing more uncertainty than ever before; AI etc. So my next move needs to a very calculated one.

Bit stresseful, but also excited.

If you are a high intelligent and high agency individual, you would want to be a generalist.

If you are a high intelligent but low agency individual,

  1. get specialized in areas with a lot moats; SAP, Epic EHR, Quality
  2. or data analysts, data scientists, AI related fields. but this might require credentials such as diploma in Mathemetics etc.

If you are a mid to low intelligetn but high agency individual,

  1. entepreurship with technical cofounder?

If you are a mid to low intelligent and low agency individual,

  1. physical labors; plumbing, electricians etc

The most intersting field would be "data analyst" position. The reasons being

  1. you can leverage a lot of your daily work with AI
  2. AI still needs good data.
important

I believe Google will win out AI race. That means a lot of big companies will need to build out their AI stuff on Google Cloud. So having speclized Google Cloud skills could be very helpful. So try to acquire Google Cloud certifications such as Data Engineer or Machine learning Engineer or Solution Architect

Not Yet

With AI, eveybody needs to undervalue "experience" by quite a lot. I once worked with one of the smarted people I met and I remember asking him if he knew this niche programming language that we would use. He said "not yet"

Whenever someone asks me if I've ever worked with so and so technology or have this domain knowledge, that would be my answer for everything; not yet.

You do know that LLM is the result of scraping the entire Internet, right? So who would have more domain knowledge than LLM? People who do not get this concept will not going to make it in this AI era.

You just need to hire smart people. In AI era, "experience" is overrated.
