AI is not going away. And no — chatting with ChatGPT is not remotely close to “knowing how to use AI.”
There is so much to learn and so much to ramp up that it’s crazy. And it’s still early. People are coming up with terms and patterns and what have you. Probably none of them will stick.
Be very careful with people who claim to know how to wield power using AI. Most people don’t know shit.
I don’t claim to know AI. But I am staying right there with the changes it’s going through.
Every LLM Is a Different Person
I use about 12 different LLMs right now. They are like people. Every single one of them is a bit different — yes, just like every person has their own personality. Some are more polite. Some are more forgetful.
It’s all probability, so you will never truly “get” them. But the more you work with them, the better feel you develop.
Image Generators Are Insane Now
I spent a chunk of time yesterday just stunned at how good image generators already are when run locally with ComfyUI. Holy cow. And there is a lot to learn.
Observability Changed How I Work
I’ve started using observability for a lot of my AI agent work so I can see how they think and how they execute tools. It’s like having X-ray vision into the agent’s brain.
The Real Goal: Delegation
For me, it’s fun. I don’t feel the need to hide that I use AI. I use AI for everything.
My major focus right now is trying to delegate chunks of mundane work to AI agents. Still a long way to go, but I am having so much fun.
